The Canadian Connection

Approximately six years ago Mr. Saty Seemungal, his wife Chan and their son David came to The Dorothy Ley Hospice in search of educational resources for their Palliative Care Society. And so began a journey of shared learning, growth and friendship. The likes of such prominent Canadian professionals as the late Dr. Larry Librach, Dr. Leah Steinberg, and Dr. Vince Maida, have visited the Unit, spoke at the annual conference and helped establish best practice within the program. In addition, both Mr. Saty Seemungal and Mr. David Seemungal are esteemed long-standing Rotarians. Click on the link below for an insightful article about PCSTT and the Rotary Club of North Scarborough.

I am incredibly honoured to be supporting PCSTT in their new projects, including the develop of a Volunteer Program, and a Day Program.
